How to Play Fast Play

An exciting new category of games with instant cash prizes and rolling jackpots!

Fast Play games play like Instant (Scratch) games but are printed on-demand from a CT Lottery Retailer’s terminal or a CT Lottery Ticket Vending Machine.
Fast Play Progressive games are a series of games that all share the same name, look and play style, but are available at different price points (wagers). Each game in a series contributes to ONE progressive jackpot.
Fast Play Progressive jackpots begin with a set minimum value. Once the minimum jackpot is funded it grows with each ticket sold statewide until someone wins. The progressive jackpot then resets to the minimum value, and grows again. The ticket price (wager) you play determines the percentage of the progressive jackpot you could win. For example: A $1 ticket wins 20% of the progressive jackpot; a $2 ticket wins 40% of the progressive jackpot and a $5 ticket wins 100% of the progressive jackpot.
Fast Play Progressive estimated jackpot amounts can be found on this website, on CT Lottery Ticket Vending Machines and CT Lottery Retailer in-store monitors. The progressive jackpot is also listed on each Fast Play Progressive ticket purchased.
All CT Lottery tickets can be checked at any CT Lottery retail location, on a CT Lottery Ticket Checker, a CT Lottery Ticket Vending Machine or by downloading our free CT Lottery Mobile App.
Fast Play tickets expire 180 calendar days from the date the ticket was purchased. The ticket time and date of purchase is located in the upper right hand corner of every Fast Play ticket. Listen for the "ding" bell sound to confirm your ticket is being printed.
Fast Play game tickets cannot be voided; once printed there is no way to cancel them. Fast Play tickets are not eligible for Advance Action or Replay.

Fast Play is a category of games with instant cash prizes. Fast Play games play like Scratch games but are printed on-demand from a CT Lottery Retailer’s terminal or a Lottery Ticket Vending Machine. Fast Play games are offered at various price points and play styles. It is fast and easy, no numbers to pick, no playslip to fill out, and no drawing to wait for.

Fast Play game tickets are generated at the time of purchase with a set of numbers/symbols on it. Players follow the instructions on the ticket by matching their play numbers/symbols to the winning numbers/symbols to see if they won.

Fast Play Progressive games are a family of games that share the same name, appearance and playstyle, but are available at different price points, and each game in a family contributes to ONE progressive jackpot. The progressive jackpot begins with a set minimum value. Once the minimum value is fully funded, the progressive jackpot grows with each ticket sold statewide until someone wins. The progressive jackpot then resets to the minimum value or is reduced by the prize amount won, whichever is greater, and begins to grow again after the minimum value is funded. Each Fast Play progressive ticket is eligible to win a percentage of the progressive jackpot. The ticket price (wager amount) you play determines the percentage of the progressive jackpot you could win. For Example: A $1 ticket wins 20% of the progressive jackpot; a $2 ticket wins 40% of the progressive jackpot and a $5 ticket wins 100% of the progressive jackpot.

Each Fast Play game has its own set of play instructions, printed on the ticket. For example, if the play instructions say, “Within a GAME: Match ALL 3 of YOUR NUMBERS to any of the WINNING NUMBERS, win the prize shown for that GAME,” and you match all 3 numbers in that game and "PROGRESSIVE TOP PRIZE" is the prize symbol for that game, you win the progressive jackpot. Each Fast Play progressive ticket is eligible to win a percentage of the progressive jackpot. The ticket price of the game you play determines the percentage of the progressive jackpot you would win

If the Fast Play Progressive family of games has a $1 game, a $2 game, and a $5 game:

$1 game wins 20% of the progressive jackpot

$2 game wins 40% of the progressive jackpot

$5 game wins 100% of the progressive jackpot

If the Fast Play Progressive family of games has a $2 game, a $5 game, and a $10 game:

$2 game wins 20% of the progressive jackpot

$5 game wins 50% of the progressive jackpot

$10 game wins 100% of the progressive jackpot
