Lucky Stamford Woman Hops Back in Line for Chance $10,000 Lottery Win
It was a casual visit to the grocery store for Michele Sukatski of Stamford when she bought a winning ticket worth $10,000! While waiting in a lengthy line to buy a “10X The Cash 11th Editio
n” ticket, Sukatski actually left for a short while. However, Sukatski soon returned to wait in line as a fellow customer was kind enough to let her back into same spot she was in before. Sukatski told Lottery officials that getting back in line really paid off!
After bringing the ticket home to play, Sukatski was ecstatic when she revealed her top prize. “I did a double take, stood up—walked around the coffee table saying, ‘Oh my God, Oh my god! I called my fiancé. He asked, ‘Is this $2,000?’ I said, ‘Multiply that by 5!’”.
Wanting to the spread the good news, Sukatski texted pictures of her winning ticket to her family. Excited to celebrate with her loved ones, the lucky winner plans to take her family out to dinner. Most importantly, Sukatski wants to buy her son a car for his upcoming 21st birthday.
Summing up her winning experience Sukatski smiled ear to ear and stated, “I got lucky.”
For selling the winning ticket, Super Stop & Shop #646 located on 1937 W Main Street in Stamford will receive a $100 check from the CT Lottery.
