First of Two “Lucky for Life” Second Prize Winning Tickets Claimed for July 28
Pierre Coffi of West Haven has claimed the first of two “$25,000 a year for life” second prize winning tickets sold for the July 28th “Lucky for Life
” lottery drawing. The remaining ticket, which is also worth $25,000 a year for life, was sold in Fairfield County and is still unclaimed.
The winning numbers drawn on July 28 were 4-7-17-19-27 and Lucky Ball number 27. Coffi’s Lucky for Life “Quick Pick” ticket missed the Lucky Ball number, but his five number match rewarded him with the game’s second highest “For Life” prize.
Earlier this week, Coffi arrived at CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill to claim the first of many $25,000 (before taxes) annual prize checks for the rest of his life. The minimum guaranteed amount Coffi could receive is $500,000 ($25,000 a year for 20 years), but winners who live longer than that will receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life.
Coffi’s winning Lucky for Life ticket was purchased at the 7 Eleven Store, located at 706 Main Street in Manchester. 7 Eleven will receive a $2,500 bonus check from the CT Lottery for selling the ticket.
