Uncasville Resident is the Third “5 Card Cash” $255,555 Top Prize Draw Winner!Yesterday’s 5 Card Cash lottery drawing resulted in yet another $255,555 top prize match for one lucky winner—Kimela Niedojadlo of Uncasville. It is the third time a 5 card match has been made since ticket sales for 5 Card Cash began on May 4, 2014.
The winning 5 Card Cash card symbols drawn on June 18 were: 8S - 8D - 3D - 4C - JS (8 of Spades, 8 of Diamonds, 3 of Diamonds, 4 of Clubs, Jack of Spades).
In addition to Niedojadlo’s $255,555 top prize, 439 tickets on that date contained a match for prizes ranging from $20 to $555. A total of 25,093 tickets contained “Instant Win” prizes ranging from a $2 (free ticket) to $555. More than 1,200,000 winning 5 Card Cash tickets have been sold to date.
Niedojadlo accepted her prize check at Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill Thursday afternoon for $174,545 (value after taxes). Her winning ticket was purchased at Quaker Hill Package Store, located at 30A Route 32 in Quaker Hill. A lottery retailer since 1998, Jeffrey Quarto, owner of Quaker Hill Package Store, had nothing, but kind words to share about the winner. “Kim is a real sweetheart—she definitely deserves it.”
For selling Niedojadlo her winning ticket, Quaker Hill Package Store will also receive a check for $2,500 from the CT Lottery.
