Good Luck is "Multiplied by 10" for Plainville ManIt is often said that "good luck happens in threes," but for Danny Bouchard of Plainville, the number "10" is an even better number.
It started for Bouchard when he purchased a "10X Cash, 2nd Edition," a $10 instant ticket at the Bristol Gas station on South Street. Scratching the ten play areas on his ticket, Bouchard revealed ten prize winning matches. Each was worth $1,000 for a total combined win of $10,000.
"It was a big shock," Bouchard told Lottery officials, "I thought there must be something wrong with the ticket." The ticket was accurate, Bouchard had just become the first top prize winner from Plainville in the extremely popular game.
It didn't take long for Bouchard to make the trip to lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill to collect his prize for $7,002 (prize value after taxes). Bouchard plans to put his $10,000 prize windfall towards bill payments and taking a vacation.
