For selling Pagano his jackpot prize winning ticket, Price Chopper will receive a $10,000 bonus from the CT Lottery—the supermarket chain’s first-ever $1,000,000 ticket sale.
“In all the time that I’ve been working for the company, I’ve never seen a lottery prize this big,” said Brian Barkasy, Southington Price Chopper’s customer service supervisor. “When we heard the good news, it was quite surprising. The employees are all very excited about it.”
