Windsor Trucker Drives Off with $2,000,000 Lottery PrizeTruck driver Jason DiMeo of Windsor rolled in to CT Lottery headquarters last Monday and claimed a $2,000,000 top prize winning ticket playing the $20 instant game, “Max-A-Millions.”  Revealing a “Star” symbol, DiMeo immediately saw the corresponding $2,000,000 prize.  DiMeo signed the back of his ticket to establish ownership, and then called his wife.  “She didn’t believe me,” DiMeo said laughing.

Max-A-Millions debuted in September of 2008.  The Max-A-Millions $2,000,000 top prize is payable as a 20-year annuity or as a one-time cash lump-sum equivalent. DiMeo selected the Max-A-Millions top prize in a $1,223,800 lump sum payment, and received a check for $835,862 (prize value after taxes).  “It hasn’t hit me yet.  This is incredible!” said DiMeo.

DiMeo's winning ticket was purchased at the Food Bag store located at 109 Berlin Turnpike in Kensington.  Food Bag will receive a $20,000 bonus from the CT Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
