Super Stop & Shop Creates Winning CT Lottery Experience for Cos Cob ResidentSuper Stop & Shop, of West Main Street in Stamford helped create another CT Lottery millionaire by selling Cos Cob resident Vivian Chaunu a winning Lucky-4-Life ticket in a recent drawing.

For selling the winning Lucky-4-Life ticket, Super Stop & Shop received a selling bonus of $20,000. The check was presented on Tuesday by Frank Farricker, Chairman, Connecticut Lottery Corporation Board of Directors and Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the CT Lottery, at the West Main Street location in Stamford where the winning ticket was purchased.

“The CT Lottery is lucky to have such great partners and because of efforts from retailers such as Super Stop & Shop, lottery sales exceeded $1 billion this year, marking the first time in Lottery history that a billion-dollar sales level has been realized,” said Frank Farricker. “We are thrilled to have retailers like Super Stop & Shop sell our products. Because of their support, and that of all our retailers, the CT Lottery returned a record $289.3 million to the General Fund this year.”

Chaunu will receive $2,000 a week, every week, for the rest of her life. Chaunu won the Top Prize when her five numbers matched the numbers drawn on July 4, 2011.

The first Lucky-4-Life drawing was conducted in April of 2009.  Drawings are held Monday and Thursday nights, and tickets are $2 each.  Since the start of the game, there have been six top prize Lucky-4-Life winners from Torrington, Durand (MI), Bethlehem, West Haven, New Haven and most recently Cos Cob.
