CT Celebrates Three $1,000,000 Powerball Prize Wins for Jan. 13 Drawing
Connecticut sold 350,629 prize winning Powerball® tickets for last night’s record-breaking $1.6 billion jackpot drawing. Three $1,000,000 prize wins were sold in Fairfield County, Hartford County and New London County, matching the first five winning Powerball numbers drawn. Three jackpot winning tickets were sold in California, Florida and Tennessee and will be split three ways.
The winning Powerball
numbers on January 13, 2016 were 4 – 8 – 19 – 27 – 34 and Powerball 10.
“This epic run was like no other,” said Anne M. Noble, CT Lottery President and CEO. “Powerball is undoubtedly the game to play. I want to thank our players and retailers for supporting the lottery, and congratulate our newest Connecticut millionaires.”
Thanks to strong ticket sales that topped out at more than $50.1 million for the jackpot run, which began on November 7, 2015, approximately $21.4 million was generated for the state’s General Fund
