CT Lottery Launches New Mobile App with Ticket Scanning FeatureThe Connecticut Lottery Corporation has launched its first mobile enabled application to allow users to look up winning numbers, check game tickets to determine if the ticket is a winner, find the current draw game jackpots, locate retailers, review game information, read winner stories and find information about responsible gambling.

“Information about our lottery products is currently delivered to customers through a variety of communication methods,” noted Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the state’s lottery corporation. “The Lottery’s traditional web site, mobile web site, social media channels and our in-store retailers are effective outlets for game information, and we are excited to launch our first app to further support information and efficiency for our customers.”

The technology for the app was developed by Scientific Games International (SGI) for the CT Lottery’s use. Apps developed by SGI are currently in use by lotteries located in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Tennessee and South Carolina as well as by the North American State and Provincial Lottery Association.

“Adding app technology to our customers’ experience is a way in which the CT Lottery can remain relevant and current with ‘how’ to send and receive information in a meaningful way. Customer service is a priority for our business and providing information through personal mobile devices works to ensure convenience for our customers,” Noble said.

The app is available at no charge from the App Store and Google Play, by searching for “CT Lottery.”
