CT’s “Lucky” Winner is “$1,000 A Day for the Rest of Their Life” Richer!
Did you buy a ticket for last night’s “Lucky for Life” drawing? If so, you just may be the incredibly lucky person who won $1,000 a day—every day—FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
Across New England, 63,751 winning Lucky for Life
tickets were purchased for the June 17, 2013 drawing. A total of 20,499 tickets were sold in CT alone, including one ticket sold in Fairfield County that contained the winning combination for the game’s top prize of $1,000 a day for life.
The winning numbers were 5 - 15 - 18 - 23 - 29 with the Lucky Ball number, 6.
At this time the CT Lottery does not know who the winner is and urges players to check their tickets, and to sign all winning tickets immediately to establish ownership.
Lucky for Life is a unique lottery game because its top prize value is based on the longevity of the winner. The minimum guaranteed amount a top prize winner could receive is $7,300,000 ($1,000 a day for 20 years), but winners who live longer than that will receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life.
To date, nearly 3,000,000 “Lucky” winning tickets have been sold in Connecticut, including 3 top prize winning tickets worth $1,000 a day for life.
