CT Lottery Players Net Big Wins Over Lucky Long Weekend
It turned out to be a lucky long weekend for CT Lottery players. Kicking off the weekend, a player hit the second highest prize in the Mega Millions drawing with a 3x multiplier on Friday, November 8, winning $3,000,000 before taxes. The winner matched all five white balls to win a $1,000,000 prize, which was then tripled to $3,000,000 due to their purchase of the optional Megaplier, which was 3x for this drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at the Cumberland Farms store located at 1978 West Street in Southington, Connecticut. Cumberland Farms will receive a $100,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Overall odds of Mega Millions are 1 in 24.

On Saturday, November 9, the Play4 evening drawing resulted in 1,116 winners and a total payout of $901,940. 285 players alone had the straight match, with each winning $2,500. Play4 odds vary by wager style.

Just two days later, on Monday, November 11, another lucky winner scored $242,930 on a Fast Play $10 Stacks of Ca$h Progressive ticket. The winning ticket was sold at the Citgo located at 2407 Berlin Turnpike in Newington, Connecticut. Citgo will receive a $2,429 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Overall odds of $10 Stacks of Ca$h Progressive are 1 in 3.29.

Fast Play Progressive jackpots grow with each ticket sold statewide until someone wins. Fast Play Progressive estimated jackpot amounts can be found on the CT Lottery website, on ticket vending machines and retailer in-store monitors. The progressive jackpot is also listed on each Fast Play Progressive ticket purchased.
