Silver Anniversary Card Delivers $10,000 “Emeralds & Rubies” PrizeSelecting a silver wedding anniversary card for his wife, Steve Andrasko of Milford decided to put something special inside to help commemorate such a special occasion—a top prize winning CT Lottery “Emerald Green 8’s and Ruby Red 7’s” instant ticket worth $10,000. “When she looked in the card, she thought the ticket was a joke,” Andrasko told Lottery officials with a laugh.
?Days later, Andrasko arrived at CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill recently to accept a prize check on their behalf for $6,833 (value after taxes). “We already had plans to take a Mediterranean cruise to celebrate our anniversary, but this will help pay for it,” said Steele.
For selling Andrasko his top prize winning ticket, Devan News & Variety, located at 2385 Main Street in Stratford will receive a check for $100 from the CT Lottery.
