Check Your Tickets - CT Lottery Is Still Looking for “Lucky for Life” Top Prize Winner!
May 09, 2012 --
On May 3, one incredibly lucky person became a top prize winner in New England’s new “Lucky for Life
” lottery draw game and won $1,000 a day, every day, for life. The winner—who purchased their ticket in Fairfield County—has yet to claim their prize.
Lucky for Life’s unique top prize, which begins from the first day of claim, is based on the longevity of the winner; the minimum guaranteed amount a top prize winner could receive is $7,300,000 ($1,000 a day for 20 years), but winners who live longer than that will receive prize payments for the remainder of their natural life.
The CT Lottery is urging everyone to once again check their tickets carefully, and to sign the back of their tickets immediately, if they have not already done so, to establish ownership.
The winning combination drawn Thursday, May 3, 2012 was 03-08-12-29-37
, with the Lucky Ball of 17
In addition to the top prize ticket, 26,472 other winning tickets were also sold in CT with prize values ranging from $2 to $2,000 each. Since the game began on March 11, more than 471,300 “Lucky” winning tickets have been sold in Connecticut to date.
In CT, Lucky for Life tickets expire 180 days from the drawing date. May 3 winners have until October 30, 2012 to claim any prizes won.
