DRAWING GAMES WINNER!
Two Times Four, Equals $2.9 Million CT Lottery Win!
May 06, 2010 -- Lottery players statewide are celebrating last nights Play4 Night drawing, in which 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 was drawn, marking the sixth largest payout in CT Lottery history for the Play4 Night game. When all the prizes are paid, the CT Lottery will have turned over a spectacular $2,962,500 to the lucky players who last night wagered on that number.

Dorota Bhasin's husband, George, was one winner who bought five (5) $1 Play4 Night tickets, each one with the number 2-2-2-2 at Long Wharf Mobil on Sargent Drive in New Haven. Each of his single winning tickets purchased was worth $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in winnings.

Lottery High-Tier Centers all around the state in Rocky Hill, New London, West Haven, Waterbury, and Norwalk have been buzzing today with winners cashing in their tickets. A total of 771 lucky ticket holders had 2-2-2-2 on their Play4 Night tickets for last night's drawing.

Play4 Night was added to the Lottery's game mix in February 1998. Since then, the number 2-2-2-2 has only been drawn once for the Play4 Night game, on April 19, 1991. For that drawing, the total payout was $1.4 million, which ranks 21st in the all time payouts for Play4 Night. The number 2-2-2-2 has never been drawn in the Play4 Day game.
