Powerball® Jackpot Grows to $250 Million for Nov. 21 Drawing
November 19, 2012 -- With the current Powerball jackpot having grown to $250 million for the Wednesday, November 21 drawing, the Connecticut Lottery Corporation reminds consumers across the state to "Play Responsibly" and "Know Your Limits."
"While Lottery games are fun and entertaining, it is important that consumers use good judgment when playing games of chance," stated Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the CT Lottery. "The public must be conscious and aware of the risks of problem gambling, and at the Lottery we make it our priority to educate consumers about responsible play."
This CT Lottery reminder is the latest in the corporation's efforts to increase awareness of responsible play issues. The CT Lottery is the primary funding source for the problem gambling programs and services offered by the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), providing that agency with $1.9 million annually.
