Pamela Dimock Wins Top Prize Playing “10X Cash 8th Edition”
Bristol Woman Multiplies $1,000 Prize 10 Times for $10,000 Prize Win
November 19, 2013 --
Driving to work last Friday morning, Pamela Dimock of Bristol stopped to see a friend who works at the Plainville Cumberland Farms store. During her visit, Dimock purchased a “10X Cash 8th Edition
” Lottery game, one of her favorite games, and saved it until she was back in her car to play it.
“When I got the ‘10X’ multiplier symbol, I scratched the prize area and saw $1 followed by a comma. I knew right then the prize was $1,000, which meant I just won $10,000! I ran right back inside the store and told my friend that I won, and then I called my husband,” said Pamela, laughing. “He didn’t believe me, of course.”
Dimock is the 25th person to win the $10,000 top prize in the 10X Cash 8th Edition game. Dimock says she plans to save the prize money she won, but some will be spent on Christmas gifts.
For selling Dimock her top prize winning ticket, Cumberland Farms, located at 64 Broad Street in Plainville, will receive a $100 bonus check from the CT Lottery.
