September 17, 2013 --
Starting today, tickets can now be purchased for the newly launched “New England Lucky for Life
” game—the only lottery draw game to offer players two “For Life” prize levels. The first drawing will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013.
Lucky for Life’s top prize is worth up to $1,000 a day, every day for life, and the game’s new second prize is worth up to $25,000 a year, every year for life, replacing the game’s current $25,000 lump sum second prize.
“Lucky for Life players across New England were clear—they wanted more ways to win a lifetime prize,” said Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the CT Lottery. “Lucky’s new second prize worth up to $25,000 a year for life and the choice of a new payment option for both ‘For Life’ prizes, provide players with exactly what they asked for—it’s a very exciting change.”
